Wild & Stone’s organic cotton hand towels are the perfect addition to your home; they’re highly absorbent, making them perfect for drying plates, but also really soft and kind to skin, so ideal for use on your hands.

Many of us don’t realise our hand towels are made out of microfibres, which are a kind of plastic. Every time you wash this synthetic fabric, millions of microfibres are released into the waters; these fibres are too small to be filtered out by waste treatment plants, so they end up in our waterways and oceans, where they wreak havoc on marine animal health and our environment. These plastics make their way into the bellies of marine animals, and people have found plastics within the fish on their plates!

Cotton hand towels are more eco friendly than microfibre towels as they are biodegradable and naturally antimicrobial. They are just like a usual kitchen towel but without any micro plastics.

100% Organic Cotton.

Dyed to Oeko-Tex Standard.

Machine wash at 60°C.

Can be tumble dried.

Wild & Stone do not recommend using fabric softener as it reduces the towels drying abilities.

How to use

Throw your hand towel in the washing machine on a hot wash. You can put your towels into the tumble dryer but avoid fabric softener as it will reduce their absorbency. If your hand towel has a smell, soak them in warm water with vinegar before you wash them.

Once you’re done with these eco-friendly hand towels, they can be cut into strips and placed into the recycling bin, it will then fully biodegrade!
